Liam Cooper has been working as a model since the moment he was born. His parents, both stock brokers, met in London while working but once married, Liam’s mother retired to look after him. They had plenty of money saved and from his father still working, they were comfortable financially. Liam was a beautiful baby, perfect in every way and was soon scouted by a modeling agency at one of the Cooper’s big business ‘do’s. From that moment on, Liam modeled and was homeschooled by his mother until the age of 14 when he was enrolled in Sevenoaks Academy.
People at Sevenoaks think it’s cool that he is a model so he gets invited to all the parties. Just because he likes books doesn’t mean he doesn’t know how to have fun. Smoking was his habit of choice and he doesn’t mind a bit of pot on special occasions but he isn’t a druggie. Liam is happy with his life how it is. His parents are proud of him, he has average grades and lots of friends. The only thing that worries him is how his parents will react when when he tells them his plans for the future.
All in all, Liam doesn’t mind modeling, in fact, he loves the attention, but he knew there was something missing from his life. During his first year at Sevenoaks, he was able to explore far more paths in life than he had even been aware existed; he had more options than just modeling. While his parents did pull him out now and again for a shoot or two, his life wasn’t solely about the camera in front of him and the prints on the page. Instead, Liam found a different type of print that he loved just as much. Words.
Whether it be in a novel, a poem, a song; he loved them. So any spare moment he found not studying, he was reading or writing. He keeps it from his parents but he doesn’t really want to be a model the rest of his life. The money is good and it’s being saved up for him for when he leaves home, but it isn’t exactly the career path he wants to take. No, Liam wants to be a writer. He figures he’ll model for few years once he leaves school while starting his novel, then he can save up more money to fund himself. He doesn’t want to be reliant on his parents, he wants to be independent.
